PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of improving user convenience by enabling printing, without causing destruction of security additional information.SOLUTION: It is determined whether security additional information has already been embedded in a duplication document (S17). If a flag LVBC_FLAG is FALSE, namely, if security additional information has not been embedded, a job control determining section 903 instructs (S18) a printer 314 to print image data, in which security additional information has been embedded by an image processing apparatus 905. Meanwhile, if the value of the flag LVBC_FLAG is determined as being "TRUE", the job control determination section 903 instructs (S19) the printer 314 not to print the image data in which security additional information has been embedded by the image processing apparatus 905. The reason for this is that since further embedding of security additional information becomes double embedding that has to be inhibited. |
