PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a gypsum board waste material capable of easily obtaining gypsum, which is sufficiently reduced in the content of a surfactant and again converted to resources so as to be used in the gypsum component of cement in a state substituted in a high ratio, without using a large amount of water.SOLUTION: The method for treating the gypsum board waste material includes a process (A) for preparing the crushed matter of the gypsum board waste material, a process (B) for mixing the crushed matter of the gypsum board waste material with water to wash the same and subsequently subjecting the washed crushed matter to solid-liquid separation to recover gypsum and a process (C) for circulating the liquid component obtained after solid-liquid separation as the washing water of the process (B) to reutilize the same. In the process (C), it is preferable to supply ozone-containing gas to the liquid component. |
