PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic EL element having a high display quality with reduced leakage current and having a high heat resistance.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the organic EL element including at least an organic light emitting layer held between a pair of electrodes includes a current application step S3 of applying a current to the organic EL element in a heating state, and a preservation step S4 of preserving the organic EL element in the heating state. The current application step S3 and the preservation step S4 are characterized by being carried out in a temperature atmosphere of 80°C or higher. |
