A process for producing a regenerated hydrotreating catalyst which comprises regenerating a spent hydrotreating catalyst at a temperature in a given range, characterized in that the given temperature range is from T1-30ºC to T2+30ºC, wherein T1 and T2 are determined by subjecting the spent hydrotreating catalyst to differential thermal analysis, converting the temperature differences that are observed in the temperature range of 100-600ºC into differences in electromotive force, then differentiating the differences in electromotive force twice by temperature to obtain the smallest extreme value and the second smallest extreme value, and taking the temperature corresponding to the extreme value located on the lower-temperature side as T1 and the temperature corresponding to the extreme value located on the higher-temperature side as T2. |
