Disclosed are a microwave heating control method and a microwave heating device in which multiple power supply units are provided in a heating chamber, and in which an object to be heated is uniformly heated to a desired state on the basis of reflected power information from the power supply units. A control unit (21) controls so as to operate a microwave generating unit (10) for heating the object to be heated at a heating frequency, and to supply the microwave power to the heating chamber (100) via the power supply units (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d). The control unit (21) estimates the heating state of the object to be heated on the basis of the change per time unit in the levels of the detection signals from power detecting units (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d), and controls the heating frequency and microwave power supplied to the heating chamber via the power supply units.
