PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute high-accuracy noise correction to images obtained when photographing is performed even if white defective pixels are included as a plurality of pixels to be arranged in an image pickup element.SOLUTION: An electronic camera includes an image pickup element in which a plurality of pixels for photoelectrically converting incident light are arranged in a matrix shape, a control part that outputs each pixel signal based on each unnecessary charge accumulated in each of the plurality of pixels arranged in the image pickup element as a first pixel signal, and also outputs each pixel signal based on each charge obtained when photoelectrically converting the incident light received by each of the plurality of pixels arranged in the image pickup element as a second pixel signal, and a correction part that calculates a correction value for each pixel row by using the remaining first pixel signals not including the first pixel signals that exceed at least a preset first threshold but residing in each pixel row among the first pixel signals output from the plurality of pixels, and corrects the second pixel signal for each pixel row by using the calculated correction value for each pixel row. |
