The head (10) has two recesses (12, 14) arranged for a working cylinder, where one of the recesses is provided for a high pressure injecting valve and another recess provided for a spark plug. The former recess is arranged in a cylinder head (10) such that a longitudinal axis (18) of the former recess and longitudinal axis of the working cylinder include an angle (22) of 2 to 10 degrees. The latter recess is arranged in the cylinder head such that another longitudinal axis (16) of the recess and the longitudinal axis of cylinder include an angle (24) of 17 to 27 degrees.
