PURPOSE: A sewage collection device and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent the outflow of bad smell carried from a sewer pipe while discharging sewage through a buried conduction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A sewage collection device(100) comprises a discharge pipe(110), a blocking plate(120), a conduction pipe(130), a screen net, and a collection pipe. The discharge pipe is connected to an end of a sewage pipe and angled at an end. The blocking plate is pivotally installed on the angled end of the discharge pipe in order to open or close the discharge pipe. The conduction pipe is composed of a first conduction pipe(131) and a second conduction pipe(132) which is connected to the collection pipe and the first conduction pipe so that sewage carried from the sewage pipe is discharged to the collection pipe. The screen net is installed on a protrusion of the first conduction pipe in order to filter foreign materials included in sewage. The collection pipe is connected to the conduction pipe in order to deliver the sewage filtered through the screen net to a sewage disposal plant.
