<p>An auto start method and system of universal serial bus (USB) data card. The method involves determining a data card driver is not installed in the terminal when a terminal detects that a data card is inserted, and using a default configuration mode to configure the data card and reading content of the data card to install the driver; otherwise using the data card driver to load the data card. After a PC installing a related driver and software, when the data card is inserted again, the data card can start directly using the normal configuration so the method can improve the auto start speed of the data card. What configuration is used to start the data card depends on a static configuration value in a registry, therefore the performance of the method is reliable. The method provides a user with tools for switching the configurations and is used more flexibly, the data card configuration is extensive and the configuration can be dynamically switched.</p> |
