PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength against plastic deformation of a pillar structure of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A pillar structure of a vehicle body of the present invention comprises: a hat-shaped outer member having a channel part in its cross section; an inner member installed between a pair of flange parts of the outer member; and a reinforcement member interposed between both flange parts of the outer member and the inner member. The reinforcement member comprises: a pair of flat parts spot-welded to a bottom surface part of the channel part; and a W-shaped cross section which projects toward one in the thickness direction between the pair of first flat parts and includes the flat parts spot-welded to the inner member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
