PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of safely removing lithium from a mechanical mask used in a lithium vacuum deposition process at micro battery manufacturing, as well as recycling the lithium.SOLUTION: The removal method of the metallic lithium on a support body includes a plasma application step. The plasma is formed from carbon sources and oxygen sources with a power between 50W to 400W. The plasma converts the metallic lithium to lithium carbonate. Further, the method includes a step of dissolving the lithium carbonate in aqueous solution.
