PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opposed-piston caliper body reducing the number of components and further improving manufacturing efficiency.SOLUTION: This opposed-piston caliper body 10 includes: a pair of acting portions 24a, 24b disposed on both sides of a disc rotor 16; bridges 26a, 26b interconnecting both the acting portions 24a, 24b; and one or more cylinder bores 28a to 28c formed in both the acting portions 24a, 24b and inserting pistons 18a to 18c therein. The cylinder bores 28a to 28c are formed in both the acting portions 24a, 24b so as not to be overlapped with an axial direction. Through-holes 30a to 30c are formed in one side acting portions 24b, 24a opposed to cylinder holes 28a to 28c on the other side acting portions 24a, 24b. |
