PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a permanent magnet 14 in a rotor 12 not through adhesion.SOLUTION: A rotor 12 for an electric machine 10 includes a rotor disc 24 extending to the outer peripheral side, from a central axis line 18 of the rotor 12; and a magnet retention tab 30 having multiple magnet retention tabs 32. The magnet retention tabs 32, radially project from the magnet retention tab 30, expand axially along the full length of the magnet retention tab 30. The magnet retention tab 30 is secured to the rotor face 24 by a securing means and axially extends from there. Each of the multiple permanent magnets 14 is arranged between adjacent magnet retention tabs 32 of the magnet retention tab 30 and is retained radially and circumferentially between the magnet retention tabs 32 and the magnet retention tab 30. |
