PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reflect the intention of a user who irradiates a command video when a system display video is updated.SOLUTION: A video display system having an image display unit 130 includes: an imaging unit for capturing a projected video projected on the image display unit 130; an extraction section for extracting an image area, in which the projected video is reflected, from the image captured by the imaging unit; a correction section for applying correction including geometric correction to the image area extracted by the extraction section to generate a reference image; and an image generation section for generating a display image based on the reference image. The display image generated by the image generation section is displayed on the image display unit 130.
