PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating roll for uniformly applying a spatter adhesion preventive agent on the coating surface of a workpiece.SOLUTION: The coating roll 10 includes a plurality of columnar porous rolls 21-27 accumulated in the axial direction (z) of a rotary shaft 1 and capable of absorbing and discharging a liquid, and a plurality of brushes 31-35 arranged between each two of the porous rolls 21-27 and having a circular ring-like flanges 31f-35f projecting in the outer circumferential direction (r) of the porous rolls 21-27. The plurality of porous tolls 22-27 and the plurality of the brushes 31-35 has diameters gradually increasing from the tip 11 to the base 12 of the rotary shaft 1. The surface of the workpiece is uniformly coated without generating an excess liquid by pressing the outer circumference of the porous rolls 21-27 onto the surface of the workpiece and moving along the surface of the workpiece, while rotating the coating roll 10. |
