PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming the spray-dry powder particles of bioactive materials; and to provide a method for preservation thereof.SOLUTION: The powder particle composition has an average particle size ranging from about 2 μm to about 200 μm, a particle density of about 1, and 40 to 60 wt.% antibodies with more than about 90% purity. The method of producing the particle composition includes the steps of: producing an aqueous suspension or solution containing a virus and polyols selected from the group consisting of sucrose, trehalose and mannitol; forming fine droplet mists by spraying the suspension or solution from nozzles at high pressure; forming powder particles by drying the droplet; and collecting the particles. |
