PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric which contains ultrafine fibers, is especially suitable as a sheet for washing skins, a wiping cloth for cleaning or catching fine dusts, a pressure sore-preventing base material, or a filter for removing fine dusts, has excellent shape retainability and excellent flexibility; and is excellent in touch with skins, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: This ultrafine nonwoven fabric is characterized in that a fiber web substantially comprising only alkali-insoluble fibers comprises thermally adhesive fibers and ultrafine fibers obtained by removing the alkali-soluble resin component of conjugated fibers formed from an alkali-insoluble resin component and the alkali-soluble resin component, is interlaced by the action of needles or water flows, is bound with the thermally adhesive fibers, and is napped by a velour needle, buff process or slice process. |
