PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping device for a balustrade preventing falling and jumping down from a veranda, which is post-attached to a balustrade of an existing veranda, does not provide a visually undesirable appearance and oppressive feeling, and is excellent in strength.SOLUTION: A plurality of falling/jumping-down prevention posts 7 are erected and fixed at predetermined intervals on the upper surface of a covering-and-fixing plate 6 having a cross-section of an almost reversely recessed shape for covering and fixing an upper frame material 5 of a support frame body 4 composing the balustrade 2 of the existing veranda from above, while decoration members 10 are integrally connected and fixed to the tops of the falling/jumping-down prevention posts 7. |
