PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase image processing speed by drawing processing according to the performance of drawing processing or the number of patterns, while preventing delay of the drawing processing caused by the presence of an unnecessary drawing object.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an object list deletion unit 104 which deletes, when a drawing object to be drawn first is included in a drawing object to be drawn next, the drawing object to be drawn first; a display list deletion unit 106 which deletes, when a drawing primitive to be drawn first is included in a drawing primitive to be drawn next, the drawing primitive to be drawn first; and a page rasterizing unit 107 which performs image formation based on drawing primitives constituting a display list. The apparatus further includes a control unit 108 which controls execution of the object list deletion unit 104 or the display list deletion unit 106 based on the number of drawing objects, the number of drawing primitives, hardware performance or the like. |
