PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soybean protein-containing food product using meat, improved by replenishing a decrease in the meat taste, occurring when adding soybean protein, while masking the uncomfortable taste of soybean protein.SOLUTION: A method for improving the meat taste includes adding thaumatin to the soybean protein-containing food product using meat so as to replenish a decrease in the taste of meat caused by a decrease in minced meat content, while masking the uncomfortable taste of soybean protein. |
