PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment which achieves optimal operation of countermeasure against electromagnetic waves to be shared in transmission and reception, and can be configured at low costs.SOLUTION: Communication equipment for a LAN (Local Area Network) has a port to switch between transmission and reception. The communication equipment includes: a transmission/reception means for transmitting/receiving a rectangular pulse; a connection means for connecting with an external counter machine; and a selection means which is provided between the port of the transmission/reception means and the connection means, and selects a path passing through a resistor for dulling the rectangular pulse or a path bypassing the resistor, along with switching between transmission/reception in the transmission/reception means. |
