PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread skiver capable of downsizing a carriage running device and reducing a facility installation cost and a facility maintenance cost without need of a complicated electric operational circuit.SOLUTION: The tread skiver includes a carriage equipped with a tread cutter, which is incorporated into a belt conveyer for conveying a tread. The carriage is equipped with a gripping means for gripping a belt of the belt conveyer. The carriage grips the belt by the gripping means, whereby it travels at running speed synchronous with speed of the belt. |
