PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ground front and rear surfaces from a conductor layer of the inside of a layer of an electromagnetic wave shielding material suitable for use of a display and is covered with a transparent covering layer, with no peeling or cutting of the conductor layer.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding material 10 has a structure in which a grounding tool 5, including a tapered tool 5A and a receiving tool 5B receiving a tapered portion 5A1 of the tapered tool 5A to fix them each other is caulked on a grounding portion of a laminate material 4, in which a conductor layer 2 and a transparent covering layer 3 are laminated on a transparent substrate 1; the front end of the tapered portion allowing the laminate material penetrating therethrough is fixed by the receiving tool; a hook claw 6A inside a flange portion 5A2 of the tapered tool and a hook claw 6B inside the receiving tool are pushed into the laminate material; and the grounding tool 5 is fixed firmly to the laminate material by the hook claws. The tapered portion makes firm contact with the conductor layer inside the layer via a conductive portion C by its fastening force and becomes conducting thereto; and further, the tapered tool and the receiving tool also conduct to ground the front and rear surfaces from the grounding tool. By having a conductive sheet, such as a metal foil, sandwiched between the tapered tool/receiving tool and the laminate material, grounding may also be taken from the conductive sheet. |
