METHOD FOR SENDING MIDDLE PILOT

A method for sending middle pilot is provided in the present invention. The sending method includes: selecting a middle pilot sequence set; establishing a union of middle pilot subcarriers; modulating middle pilot sequences in the middle pilot sequence set, then mapping them, by a base station on an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Access (OFDMA) or an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol for transmitting the middle pilot, to middle pilot subcarriers in the union of middle pilot subcarriers corresponding to each transmission antenna, or mapping, by a base station on an OFDMA or an OFDM symbol for transmission the middle pilot, the middle pilot sequences in the middle pilot sequence set to middle pilot subcarriers in the union of middle pilot subcarriers corresponding to each transmitting antenna, then modulating the data of the subcarriers. Application of the present invention can implement sending middle pilot sequences, thus the periodicity of the pilot symbol in the frequency domain is reduced and the downlink performance of the user data is improved.
