<p>Provided are an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program capable of removing the effect of illumination components from a plurality of images having different illumination environments and generating images with high color reproducibility. A de-mosaic processing unit (221) performs de-mosaic processing on a reference image held in a reference mosaic image holding unit (111). A de-mosaic processing unit (222) performs de-mosaic processing on a processing-target image held in a processing-target mosaic image holding unit (112). A white balance calculation unit (230) calculates white balance values for the reference image on a per-channel basis. A channel gain calculation unit (250) calculates, from the reference image, the RGB values of the processing-target image, and the white balance of the reference image, each channel gain used for an illumination component conversion. When calculating the gains, under-exposure, saturation, and the like are considered. A channel gain applying unit (260) applies the gains calculated by the channel gain calculation unit (250) to the respective channels of the processing-target image.</p> |
