<p>The invention relates to a tank for optimising the process of separating flocculates found in seawater or in wastewater, said tank (10) including a container (1), a sand filter (2) located at the bottom of the container (1), and a nozzle (3) located above the sand filter (2), which includes an inner lid (9) driving a flow (4) consisting of the mixture of air-saturated water and seawater previously inserted in the nozzle (3) via a plurality of tubes (5). The air-saturated water creates microbubbles (6) which drag the flocculates toward the top of the tank (10), where said flocculates build up to form a layer of sludge (7) which is periodically collected. Further, the tank (10) has a lid (8) located between the nozzle (3) and the outer surface.</p> |
