PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet roll manufacturing method capable of winding up long toilet paper even though it does not become hard when a toilet roll is manufactured by winding up the toilet paper composed of two plies or more.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing toilet rolls by winding toilet paper of two plies or more, a raw material of pulp is beaten to have a texture of 400 to 500 cc in freeness and 0.7 to 0.9 mm in average fiber length and the beaten texture is formed into a web from the beaten pulp. While a coating layer is formed by applying a chemical liquid containing release and coating agents to the surface of a Yankee dryer, the web is dried up on the layer of the Yankee dryer and then peeled off from the surface of the Yankee dryer through the use of a creping doctor to obtain a web with a weight of 9 to 14 g/m. The web is subjected to ply treatment to produce a toilet paper of two plies or more. |
