PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system of an electric vehicle which can drive a lighting device by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A vehicle inlet 270 is arranged at the electric vehicle 10, and can be connected with a charging cable 300. The charging cable 300 includes a charging connector 310 which can be connected to the vehicle inlet 270. A connecting signal generation circuit 514 of an ECU 170 generates a cable connecting signal PISW, and transmits the cable connecting signal PISW to a CPU via a cable connecting signal line L3. When the charging connector 310 is connected to the vehicle inlet 270, the cable connecting signal line L3 is connected to a grounding line L2 which is connected to a vehicle earth 512. The connecting signal generation circuit 514 can change the potential of the cable connecting signal PISW according to the execution state of charging. The charging connector 310 includes a lighting part W1 which is driven according to the cable connecting signal PISW. |
