PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the clock frequency of a module such as a timer in an electronic circuit using a clock generator which modulates frequency.SOLUTION: An electronic circuit includes: a clock generator for generating a clock whose frequency has been modulated within a fixed modulation cycle with respect to an input clock having prescribed frequency; and a control part for identifying a plurality of modules operating according to the generated clock; and for setting the modulation frequency of the clock generator. When there is only one specific module to be operated by a clock having non-modulated frequency, the control part sets the modulation frequency so that the frequency determined from the modulation frequency is set to the integer multiple of the clock frequency of the specific module, and when there are two or more specific modules, the control part sets the modulation frequency so that the frequency determined from the modulation frequency is set to the common multiples of the clock freuqency of a plurality of specific modules. |
