PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly playback of a backed-up material from media, and to restore it, even from middle of a file.SOLUTION: An information recording device includes an AV multiplexing section obtaining AV data, by subdividing data of video file and audio file to alternatively interleave them; a playback information creating section for creating a sectional parameter, by extracting the information that includes a header necessary for playing back the predetermined section of the AV data, and metadata, such as data offset value to each frame and time code from the AV data to output media stream to which sectional parameter information is inserted for each predetermined section of the AV data; and a data-recording section for imparting a marker to the media stream for each head of the file and the sectional parameter information and recording the media stream with a marker imparted to it to the recording media.
