PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read track information or file information during the reproduction of track data or file data relating to a CD.SOLUTION: An optical disk reproducing device includes two optical pickups 13 and 14. A system controller 20 determines whether the CD 10 is a CD-DA or a CD-ROM. In the case of the CD-DA, the system controller 20 supplies a driver 17 with a control signal C17 and moves the optical pickup 14 to the recording position of the track data. When the whole track information is requested from a host control part 45 during the reproduction of the track data, the system controller 20 supplies a driver 16 with a control signal C16 to search the inside of a lead-in area in response to the request. The driver 16 moves the optical pickup 13 to the inside of the lead-in area. By repeating this operation, the system controller 20 reads the whole track information during the reproduction of the track data. |
