PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining a change in a gas flow rate which prevents incorrect determination of the change in the flow rate of gas and improves a reaction to the change in the flow rate at the time when no pulsation occurs.SOLUTION: The device for determining the change in the gas flow rate obtains the flow rate of gas periodically, calculates the amount of the change between two flow rates obtained consecutively and determines the change in the flow rate, based on the result of comparison between the calculated amount of the change and a determination value of the amount of the change set beforehand. The device includes a pulsation detecting means 34 which detects the presence or absence of occurrence of pulsation of gas and a determination value altering means 35 which alters the determination value of the amount of the change to a determination value for high sensitivity when it is detected by the pulsation detecting means 34 that no pulsation occurs, and alters that determination value to a determination value for low sensitivity which is larger than the determination value for high sensitivity when it is detected by the pulsation detecting means that the pulsation occurs. |
