PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for breeding livestock and poultry by probiotics (utilization of viable bacteria) preventing livestock and poultry from becoming infected with bacillus or developing disease when drinking water, feed and/or the like are/is contaminated with disease-causing germs so as to increase growth effect.SOLUTION: The method for breeding livestock and poultry by probiotics comprises feeding aqueous mixture containing lactobacillus powder obtained by powdering lactobacillus cultured and increased in vegetable culture medium or animal culture medium as drinking water, spray water and/or feed, or feeding solid mixture containing the lactobacillus powder as active ingredient, as feed.
