PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform connection in a sealed form by such a single operation that a flexible pipe is only inserted, to make hardly influenced with regard to deformation of the flexible pipe and bending or the like after construction only by sealing the peripheral surface of the flexible pipe by a seal member, to improve sealing performance, and to improve fire-resistance performance.SOLUTION: This flexible pipe joint 10 includes a joint body 20, the seal member 24, a slipping-out preventive member 64, a fire-resistant packing 104, and a pressing ring 22. The flexible pipe is inserted into the joint body 20 from a socket. The fire-resistant packing 104 contains synthetic resin and expanding material expanding when heated so as to reach temperature exceeding a threshold. The fire-resistant packing 104 is arranged in the position of a seal member waiting section, brought into contact with the slipping-out preventive member 64 during movement with the movement of a seal acting portion and expanded in the direction of a seal member reduced diameter guide portion when heated. |
