PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an intermediate layer and an electrode wherein necessary porosity is not lost and peeling-off and cracks do not occur when they are manufactured by sintering on a dense electrolyte.SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of a solid oxide electrochemical cell includes a process to form a mixture powder on the electrolyte in which a rough powder mainly composed of a conductive oxide material having a small shrinkage factor in calcination and a fine powder mainly composed of a conductive oxide having a large shrinkage factor in calcination, and includes a process in which the mixture powder is sintered into the sintered layer.
