PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which can suppress the deterioration of magnetic properties occurring when a stress is applied, while obtaining high strength, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet includes, by mass%, 2.0-4.0% Si, 0.01-1% Al, 0.5-4.0 Cu, 0.05-1.0% Mn, 0.0040% or less C, 0.3% or less P, 0.0040% or less S, 0.0040% or less N, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities; has a magnetostriction constant λof 35×10or less; and contains such metallic phases in the inner part as to have the diameters of 1-100 nm and be mainly formed of Cu. |
