PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension unit allowing smooth sliding when relatively moving an outer pipe and an inner pipe arranged inside the outer pipe.SOLUTION: The extension unit includes a first hollow member 10 and a second hollow member 11 arranged inside the first hollow member 10, in a relatively movable manner. A linear guide device 12 including a track rail 13 and a movable block 15 movable relative to the track rail 13 is provided inside the second hollow member 11. The track rail 13 is fixed to the second hollow member 11, and the movable block 15 is fixed to the first hollow member 10 through a guide hole 19 provided in the second hollow member 11 and extended in a longitudinal direction.
