PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor and time for performing a retrieval with respect to a certain area when acquiring the weather information of the area from an information providing device on a network.SOLUTION: A user requests an information providing device 2 on a network 1 to provide weather information by designating an area and a date by using terminal equipment 3 such as a PC. The information providing device 2 reads and provides the weather information of the designated area and the designated date from a weather information DB 231, and specifies information related with a distance between the terminal equipment 3 and the designated area and the designated date by referring to a weather information/relevance information table 234, and reads it from a relevance information DB 232, and transmits it to the terminal equipment 3. |
