PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a flexure substrate at a position as close as possible to a tip-side edge in a supporting member-forming plate without welding three members including the flexure substrate.SOLUTION: In order that a lower surface close to the disk surface of a tip section including the tip-side edge in the supporting member tip area of the supporting member-forming plate forms an exposed surface exposed to the disk surface at least in a center area in a suspension width direction, a tip-side supporting plate supporting the tip side of a pair of piezoelectric devices is welded to the lower surface of the supporting member-forming plate. The flexure substrate is welded to the body area of a load beam section at a proper welding point and is welded to the supporting member-forming plate at a welding point disposed at least on the exposed surface of the tip section in the supporting part tip area. |
