PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce polyorganosiloxane particles having a small particle diameter variation each time polyorganosiloxane particles are produced and a desired particle diameter with good reproducibility.SOLUTION: In the process for producing the polyorganosiloxane particles by arranging the phase of a hydrolyzable organic silicon compound represented by formula (1): RSi(OR)(wherein Ris a 1C-10C hydrocarbon group selected from (non)substituted hydrocarbon groups; Ris hydrogen, a 1C-5C alkyl group or a 2C-5C acyl group; and n is a positive number of 0-3) for the upper layer, arranging the phase of a water/alcohol mixed solvent of a hydrolysis catalyst for the lower layer, and bringing the hydrolyzable organic silicon compound into contact with the hydrolysis catalyst, the alcohol includes a 5C-10C monohydric alcohol (ROH). |
