PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording display for easily performing reset operation with a comparatively simple structure.SOLUTION: The optical recording display includes a display part. The display part includes: a plurality of pixels; a plurality of pixel electrodes each of which is formed for each of the plurality of pixels, and is connected to a diode via a first terminal; a common electrode which is opposite to the plurality of pixel electrodes, and an electro-optical material layer having a memory property which is disposed between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the common electrode; and signal lines connected to second terminals of the diode and connected to each other in a direct manner or via an electric circuit.
