PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism in which a vertical axis waterwheel disposed at an underwater lower portion of a floating body which is tethered to a shore or bottom of water and floats in a flowing water, in a rotating current generated within a circular cylinder wall, in order to effectively utilize is arranged, in an effective manner and at low cost, energy from flowing water whose water surfaces do not have large differences in height, such as ocean current, tidal current, and river current.SOLUTION: A water flow entering from an inlet (2) is introduced into a circular cylinder wall (1) by a wall (5). The water flow thus generates a rotating current while giving lift force and drag force to an impeller blade (4), generates a vortex, and flows out downward. Torque is obtained from an impeller blade axle (3) and is utilized. |
