PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of display quality caused by shavings produced by contact with a liquid crystal panel, by securely fixing the liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes at least a liquid crystal panel, a backlight to illuminate the liquid crystal panel, a frame having flexibility, which includes a base portion to hold the backlight and a side portion to surround side faces of the liquid crystal panel held with a sticking member on the display face side of the base portion, and a case which is attached from the rear side of the frame and engages with the frame, wherein a claw portion is provided on an inner surface of the side portion of the frame and projected toward the liquid crystal panel side and constructed to be movable with slits set on both sides, and a protruding portion which pushes the claw portion of the frame toward the liquid crystal panel side is provided on the inner surface of the side portion of the case, and the claw portion is formed to be in contact with the display surface side of the liquid crystal panel on the tip in a state in which the claw portion is pressed by the protruding portion of the case. |
