PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation membrane support having a superior membrane forming property and mechanical strength when supporting separation membranes such as microfiltration membranes, ultrafiltration membranes, nano-filtration membranes and reverse osmosis membranes, and to provide separation membranes using the same and a membrane separation element.SOLUTION: The separation membrane support consists of long fiber nonwoven fabric composed of thermoplastic continuous filaments, contains a high density part formed by partial thermocompression and a low density part not subjected to partial thermocompression, and has a fiber density of the high density part of 0.6-1.0 and a fiber density of the low density part of 0.1-0.5.
