PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent which has an excellent permanent antistatic property even when its content in an antistatic resin composition is less than that in a conventional antistatic resin composition and which ensures a molded article having excellent water resistance and excellent mechanical characteristics, and to provide the antistatic resin composition.SOLUTION: The antistatic agent (X) comprises a block polymer (A) having a block of a hydrophobic polymer (a) and a block of a hydrophilic polymer (b) with specific volume resistivity of 1×10-1×10Ω cm, which are bonded to each other at least via a bond selected from a group of an ester bond, an amide bond, an ether bond, an imide bond, and an urethane bond, and has melt tension of 0.01-1 (N, 210°C) and melt viscosity of 0.1-0.4 (kPa×S, a shear rate of 600 secondat 220°C). |
