PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display which has accurately engraved markings, without losing the strength of a glass substrate.SOLUTION: In the flat panel display has the markings engraved by means of laser beam irradiation on the glass substrate, a plurality of minute cracks are formed at different positions in the thickness direction of the glass substrate and at different positions in the in-plane direction of the glass substrate, and at least a part of the marking is composed of the plurality of minute cracks. |
