PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element that is reduced in driving voltage and is improved in efficiency of light extraction, to provide a method of manufacturing the same, and also to provide a lamp, an electronic apparatus, and a mechanical apparatus.SOLUTION: In the light emitting element 1, an n-type semiconductor layer 12, a light emitting layer 13, a p-type semiconductor layer 14, and a titanium oxide-based conductive film layer 15 are stacked in this order on one surface of a substrate 11. Between the p-type semiconductor layer 14 and the titanium oxide-based conductive film layer 15, there exist a first oxide containing either one of the following elements: In, Al, and Ga, and a second oxide containing either one of the following elements: Zn or Sn. A mass ratio of the second oxide to the total amount of the first oxide and the second oxide is within a range of 1 to 20 mass%. |
