PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-air battery module and a metal-air battery stack capable of efficiently recovering a negative electrode active material using thermal energy of sunlight, and miniaturizing peripheral apparatuses.SOLUTION: This metal-air battery module includes a cylindrical cell which can be charged and discharged by oxidation-reduction reaction, a housing portion to hold the cell in a rotatable state around the center axis of the cell, and a metal-air battery 1 including a driving device to rotate the cell in the direction of its circumference. This module also includes a condensing plate 15 disposed so as to face the metal-air battery 1 to condense sunlight. The cell has a positive electrode layer to reduce oxygen, an electrolyte layer disposed on the periphery of the positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer disposed on the periphery of the electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode active material layer disposed on the periphery of the negative electrode layer. An opening portion 11 is formed in the peripheral side face of the housing portion. Light condensed by the condensing plate 15 is irradiated to the negative electrode active material layer through the opening portion 11. |
