PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration actuator and an electronic device having suitable characteristics.SOLUTION: The vibration actuator 10 includes a vibration portion (12) which contacts a relative movement portion (13) and produces necessary vibration for a relative movement of the relative movement portion (13); a first member (22), which is provided to hold the relative movement portion (13) between the first member and the vibration portion (12) and moves relative to the vibration portion (12), in response to the movement of the relative movement portion (13) with respect to the vibration portion (12); a second member (21) which faces the first member (22) via a rolling member (23) and supports the first member (22) so that the first member (22) is movable relative to the vibration portion (12); and a pressing member (15) which generates a pressing force between the second member (21) and the vibration portion (12) so that the vibration portion (12) and the relative movement portion (13) are in contact with each other. The first member (22) contains a plastic substance. |
