PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the state of lighting of a lighting apparatus according to whether a human body is present in a desired detection area without mounting a device for a separate sensor and to detect the human body if there is an obstacle.SOLUTION: A remote controller 2 separate from the lighting apparatus 1 indicates the state of lighting of a lighting light source 11 for the lighting apparatus 1 by means of lighting control signals S1 and S2. The remote controller 2 has a control portion manipulated during setting of the lighting state of the lighting light source 11, a detection portion for detecting the human body P, and a control portion generating the lighting control signals S1 and S2 depending on the result of detection of the detection portion and on the manipulation on the control portion. The detection portion has an electromagnetic sensor. The electromagnetic sensor is mounted on the opposite side of the control side of the control portion, and the detection area A is on the opposite side of the control portion. |
